A'pieu Madecassoside Sun Cream | Skincare Review

Madecassoside Sun Cream derived from nature to strengthen skin barrier by providing protective film to skin. It helps to protect skin from UV rays and harmful environment.

Texture:
It comes in white cream type texture. Feel light on skin without sticky and greasy feeling.

Scent:
It has mild citrusy scent due to essential oils.

Ingredients:
This sun cream is a physical sunscreen as it used Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide as the UV filter. The main ingredients are Centella Asiatica, Niacinamide & Madecassoside. Madecassoside are known as soothin, calming ingredients. But essential oils in this product can cause irritation to certain skin types.

Packaging & Pricing:
Comes in compact 40ml tube packaging & the price is quite cheap, I think around RM21. I bought mine from Shopee (smileuoppa.my) where they ship directly from Korea.

Experiences:
As it is a physical sun cream, we need more effort spread it evenly around the skin. Therefore, you need to layer it or not you'll experienced whitecast. Sometimes it did crease on my lines areas when I apply a lot. The filter not enough when you're going outside, as my forehead still get burn. You might just use this at home as it also didn't look nice under makeup. Personally, I don't think this is a mild formulation because the essential oils make my eyes area stings.

Cons:
❌Contains essential oils
❌Not a makeup-based friendly

Overall, I would rate 2.7/5 🌟 I'm not thinking of repurchase this sun cream again.
