So, last month I'd receive a tester parcel from Benton Cosmetics. It comes from the Goodbye Redness Centella range which they already launch the mask from the same range months before.

But first, thanks again Benton for sending me this gel. So, let's start my review on this

Product description

This product is designed to say goodbye to redness with the use of Centella ingredients. 'Redness' in this product refers to irritated skin, blemishes and uneven skin tone. This gel allows instant nourishment and full hydration while soothing the irritated skin. This gel contain 80% of natural Centella Asiatica ingredients that harvested in Korea. It is good for soothing, protecting and healing the skin.

This gel also claimed as free of artificial fragrance, volatile alcohol, PEGs and other harmful ingredients.

Centella Asiatica (also known as tiger grass):

Known for its famous skin soothing and healing properties. It also commonly used in cosmetics, are effective for improving skin’s health and the protection of the skin.

How to use

Apply a suitable amount on face after toning & softly pat it until fully absorbed.

Texture

Crystal clear gel texture. Non sticky and easily absorbed.

Scent

No scent detected like what it's claimed.

My thought & experiences

At first I didn't expect much from this gel because I saw one of the ingredient is Tea Tree leaf extract. I always had bad experience with product that has the tea tree name in it before. But yeah, I still can't confirmed either it only tea tree oil or everything about tea tree. Because I believed this product only contain low percentage of tea tree as the main ingredient in this product is CENTELLA.

I didn't see any improvement on my first few days trying it because my skin didn't face any problem at that moment. But i can feel that cooling & soothing feel from the gel. & suprisingly, this product really help when my skin acting up. It soothes my redness and bumps. Like when I wake up, all the redness gone (well except big pimples because it takes time). I think its really hard to see the result when your skin doesn’t acting up. It’s really made for troubled skin.

When your skin is acting up, I would suggest you to used this in thick layer before you sleep. If you don’t like that thick or greasy feeling, can do layering too. I did it before, and result was goodbye redness!

Packaging

It comes in 100ml tube packaging. The designing quite simple like other Benton's product too. But I love their minimal designing with great color combination. It also come with a box with same design. And tube is sealed because the product lifetime (period after opening) is only 6 months.
